Niger Delta Petroleum Resources Ltd (NDPR), a subsidiary fully owned by Niger Delta Exploration & Production, has announced that its 100 MMscfd Ogbele Gas Processing Plant has been successfully commissioned. 
 
Specifically, the Gas Dehydration System, Gas Metering System, Pig Launcher and the 20km 12” Gas Pipeline are now in operation, which has led to the commercialization of the gas resources at Ogbele Field.  
 
Gas Production has enabled NPDR to effectively eliminate gas flaring from the oil production operations at Ogbele, except for process control, when there is need. NDPR is thereby fully compliant with the Federal Government’s Zero Gas Flare policy. 
Dr. ‘Layi Fatona, MD, NDPR, said, NDPR is now the first Independent, indigenous operator to deliver such gas off-take to the NLNG Bonny Terminal.
