The International Council Of African Managers Decrees An Award To The President Of The Petrolin Group

Mr. Samuel Dossou-Aworet was presented with the African Managers Leadership and Excellence Academy Award, a distinction awarded by the International Council of African Managers (CIMA) to the Chairman of Petrolin Group for his patriotism, performance and commitment to the emergence of his country.

The Award ceremony was held at the 33rd Annual Gala of African Managers in Paris during the Economic Forum of the Winning Africa organized by CIMA.

As he was presented with the award, Mr. Samuel Dossou-Aworet said he was «honored», and that he dedicates the award to «All those Africans by birth or adoption, men and women, of all ages and generations, who are struggling every day for a United and Prosperous Africa».

During the ceremony, several executives and business leaders were also presented with awards in various categories.

CIMA was created on March 13, 1986, at the initiative of several African Heads of State.  It is designed to serve as a «platform for reflection and partnership to participate in building a stronger and winning Africa». It was in this spirit that the Economic Forum of the Winning Africa was born.
